ALEX FERGUSSON: The Castle CD 120DKK
Twelve new songs spread out like the pages of a diary - musical interpretations of fantasies, observations, and passions from a great songwriter. ALEX FERGUSSON, responsible for Punk classics such as "Action Time Vision" (ALTERNATIVE TV) and Pop hits such as "Godstar" (PSYCHIC TV), recorded "The Castle" within a few days 'live' in a north-London studio. Thus, the songs come across in a very fresh and honest manner - he wanted to do that album in the same mode of working as he used with PSYCHIC TV in the early 80's. The result is a very natural, short, but to-the-point album, starting off in an experimental, rocking and subtly psychedelic vein. Tracks 4 and 6 are very 60ies-like - just as if VELVET UNDERGROUND had risen from the grave and recorded new songs. But every other track brings you good and gently picked folk (tracks 5 and 8), so that you'll have to admit: ALEX has found his own unique style on "The Castle." Guest: Rose McDowall Recommended!

LINDBERGH BABY: Hoodwinked CD 100DKK
From the countryside of the other USA is Scott Broderick joined by his cohorts from Blood Axis for a dark psychedelic country orientated release. His songs are expressing ideas of liberty and self-reliance that have become unfashionable in so many parts of the world, but still can be unearthed in the Green Mountains of New England where Scott Broderick live and work. This extraordinary release is far from commonline of anything, and does present eight well written good old Nietzsche rock’n’roll attitude songs - including a reading of LaVey’s 17th enochian key. The CD is produced by Robert Ferbrache who also have produced for example 16 Horsepower, and musically would this release probably also be appealing to those who are fans of such as Woven Hands/16HP.

BACKWORLD: Of Silver Sleep CD 120 DKK
A highly accomplished work from a talented artist with a seemingly effortless delivery that is at once simple and masterly in the best (neo)-folk tradition. The 11-track album features Joseph Budenholzer and friends including Michael Cashmore who plays 12-string guitar on 'A Shepherd's Tale' for which he also wrote the music. The other friends are Julia Kent (cello), Connie Petruk (vocals, piano), Paul Geluso (bass), Laura Cromwell (drums), and Claudia Chopek (violin). B'eirth of In Gowan Ring also contributes a recorder solo on the title and closing track, 'Of Silver Sleep', which was co-written with Julia Kent. With a nod to psychedelic folk, Joseph's distinctive style is hallmarked by a soothing voice and twinkling guitar, but the attractive sound is often belied by dark and disturbing themes, although this CD seems less dark than some previous material.


CRISIS: Ends CD 125 DKK
Ignited by the fires of Punk that swept through the UK in 1977 CRISIS suddenly extinguished its flame in front of its home crowd in Guildford, Surrey on 10th May,1980 supporting Magazine and Bauhaus. Despite more shows being planned this intense performance was deemed a fitting place to make The Ends Mystify The Means. CRISIS had played their first show here 3 years previously and this would be where they played their last. The set features unreleased material by the group whose ex-members then went onto form DEATH IN JUNE, THEATRE OF HATE and CAR CRASH INTERNATIONAL.

DEATH IN JUNE: Black Angel – Live! CD 125 DKK
A surprise release of a very recently unearthed live recording of an excellent and exciting performance at the famous Esplanade Hotel in Melbourne, Australia in May, 2000 featuring one of the first stripped back acoustic shows that was to go on to tour America and Europa in the next 5 years. Released in a limited edition of 2,000 signed foil-blocked Digipaks featuring rare/unseen photos.

DEATH IN JUNE: The World That Summer CD 125 DKK
Death In June is the musical brainchild of English folk musician Douglas Pearce, better known as Douglas P. Death In June was originally formed in Britain in 1981 as a trio, but after the other members left in 1985 to work on other projects, the group became the work of Douglas Pearce and various collaborators. Pearce now lives in Australia. Over Death In June's two decades of existence, numerous shifts in style and presentation have occurred, resulting in an overall shift from initial post-punk and Industrial Records influence to an overall more acoustic and folk music-oriented approach. Although sometimes considered controversial, Death In June has become very influential in certain post-industrial musical circles. Pearce's influence was instrumental in sparking neofolk, which his music has subsequently become a part of. NERUS

Available separately for the first time are the six bonus songs from “The World That Summer”, re-recorded in 1989 and 2006. These tracks were last seen for a few short weeks in 2006 as the second disc in the 2xCD stone box edition of the 20th Anniversary Edition of “The World That Summer”. This edition is presented in a simple but elegantly finished slipcase. LUX INTERNA: God Is Not Dead for the Birds CD 120 DKK
"God is not Dead for the Birds" is a classic singer-song writer album, however the musical spectrum has been considerably widened to the benefit of the songs. All the songs radiate warmth, security, and yet at the same time, display a peculiarly melancholic confidence, which is accented first and foremost by the virtuously played cello and violin. At times – although it is liminal – man may sense a subtly angry undertone, which has something of the youthful and rebellious energy of NICK CAVE.

Lux Interna was first conceived of in 1998, as a solo project for singer/songwriter Joshua Ian Levi Gentzke. This concept finally found its fulfillment with the collaboration of three other artists; Kathryn Mary Ceilewich, Kevin Sweet, and S.A. Hallinan. Each unique contribution of the participants have collimated in an expression of Will that is both personal, and transpersonal. As the concept behind the name suggests, it is the goal to utilize and empower the "light", or "higher-self" that lies within.
